[An Update Message from Tom Watt]

Thank you so much for the amazing outpouring of love and prayer for Mario.

Last Thursday evening, my wife, Donna, and I spent some time with Mario and, "WOW", did he look good.

We were so pleasantly surprised to see the good color in his face and those expressive eyes responding to the posters, cards..... and the jokes we were making.  Though he can't speak..... imagine Mario not saying a word..... he is as expressive as ever with his gestures, eyes, and, of course, his dry-erase board! Donna even taught Mario a little beginning sign language, which we had fun with.

Today, he's home with his daughter, Magdalena, and what a blessing that is! He wanted me to tell you how uplifting and inspiring your sharing on Caring Bridge, and how exciting all of the cards, letters, posters, and artwork from the Smith Staff, students, and families has been these past two weeks.

He is overwhelmed with gratitude! Mario still has a long way to go,
so keep lifting him up in your prayers and keep those entries coming on the Caring Bridge.

Blessings to you all.

Tom Watt ..... and Mario
