PTA Art Reflections 2014-2015 Update

Let’s take a moment to recognize all of the students who took the time to express themselves creatively in the 2014/15 PTA Art Reflections program, “The World would be a Better Place if…”

We had 57 entries this year and are represented in every category! Through film, photography, drawing, painting and writing Smith students expressed powerful ways to improve our world including feeding the hungry, helping animals, cleaning up our lands and beaches, and much more!

Our esteemed panel of judges have selected 19 entries to compete against other schools in Huntington Beach at the district level. The winning Visual Arts and Photography entries will be displayed at our local Huntington Beach Central Library from November 3-24, 2014.

In addition, we will be displaying ALL entries at our Annual Smith Art Show on January 27, 2015. And photographs of our student’s work will be displayed as part of an ongoing slideshow at the HBCSD District offices.Congratulations to the following students who will be advancing to the district level of the competition (HUC):
